CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

During worship the kids are always invited forward for the children's time. After that, throughout the school year we have an active Sunday school program for children 5 years to 6th grade, with dedicated teachers and helpers. Please come craft, learn and play with us as we learn about God.

WORSHIP

We worship in the gorgeous sanctuary, sundays at 10 am. Our worship entails hymns, prayers, scripture reading, children's time, and a sermon. All are welcome to share in our laughs, joys, and sometimes our concerns as we worship God who is constantly with us.

Community Outreach

Our Mission or community service is one of our core beliefs. We reach out with God's love in many ways throughout Newark. As a community, we support things financially. But individually one can find many of our attendees at the food bank helpng, the senior lunches helping, gathering supplies for school age children,  making blankets and caps for babies at hospitals, sitting with those who feel abndoned or lonely. Our Mission activities reach far and wide.

BIBLE STUDY

Throughout the school year,  there are many studies that go on. In the past, we have looked at biblical texts like Esther, the books the Cross and the Switchblade. In the summer of 2026, we are having Vino & Veritas at Parkers in NEwark, a time to look at and discuss big questions. In the fall of 2026 we hope to be having a sermon discussion on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Check back for the Latest Information
